Features

Everything a conversation leaves behind

Press record and get the parts you would otherwise have to write down yourself — and nothing the meeting did not actually say.

  • Record anywhere

In your browser, or on your phone. Recording works with no signal at all — it is saved on the device and syncs itself when you are back online.

  • Transcripts with timestamps

Every recording is transcribed and split into timed segments, so you can jump to the moment something was said instead of scrubbing for it.

  • Summary and key topics

A short account of what the conversation was about, drawn from the audio itself — with the topics it kept returning to.

  • Decisions, kept apart from tasks

A decision is something already true when the meeting ends. An action item is work that still has to happen. Gorowame will not file one as the other.

  • Action items that do not invent an owner

Owners and due dates are filled in only where the conversation actually named one. “Friday” is not a date, and it is left empty rather than guessed.

  • Ask across every meeting

Ask a question of your whole workspace and get an answer with the meetings and moments it came from, so you can check it rather than take its word.

  • Share a read-only link

Send a meeting to someone with no account. Links expire, can be revoked, and deliberately carry neither the audio nor anybody’s email address.

  • Export as Markdown

Take a whole meeting out in one click. It pastes intact into Notion, Slack, or a document — nothing is locked in here.

  • Workspaces you control

Roles and members, ownership you can hand over, and a retention period you set yourself — from a single day to forever. Deleting is undoable for 30 days.

How It Works

Four steps, and you only do the first one

Everything after “stop” happens on its own, and keeps happening if you close the tab or lose the connection.

  1. Press record

In the browser or in the phone app. No dial-in, no bot joining the call, no meeting link required — it records the room you are actually in.

  2. It is saved before it is sent

The meeting appears the moment you start, and the audio is stored the moment you stop. Recording offline is fine — it waits on the device and uploads itself later, once, never twice.

  3. Transcribed, then read

The audio is transcribed with timestamps, and the transcript is turned into a summary, the decisions that were made, and the action items that came out of it.

  4. Ask, share, export

Question your whole workspace and get answers with sources. Send a read-only link to somebody without an account, or take the meeting out as Markdown.

FAQ

The questions worth answering honestly

  • Can I reset my password if I forget it?

Not yet — and this is the one to read twice. Email delivery is not connected, so the reset link has nowhere to go and an account with a forgotten password cannot currently be recovered. Save the password somewhere before you finish signing up. Invitations to colleagues cannot be sent for the same reason; add people once email is in.

  • Does it join my Zoom, Meet, or Teams calls?

No. Nothing joins a call and no bot appears in your meeting. Gorowame records the conversation from the device in front of you — a browser tab or your phone — which is also why it works for conversations that were never scheduled and never had a link. Calendar and video-platform integrations are planned and are not built.

  • Does recording work without a connection?

On the phone, yes. The recording is written to the device as you speak and queued; when you are back online it uploads on its own, including after force-quitting the app. Each recording produces exactly one meeting — a queue that syncs twice would create duplicates, and it is built specifically not to.

  • Who can see a meeting I share?

Anybody holding the link, which is why links expire by default and can be revoked at any time. A shared view is narrower than the meeting page on purpose: it carries no audio and no email addresses. Only the link’s fingerprint is stored, so a lost link is replaced rather than looked up.

  • Where is my audio stored, and can I get rid of it?

Audio is held in private object storage in the EU and is never served from a public URL — playback uses a link that is minted for one file and expires. You set your own retention period per workspace, from a single day to forever, and an expired meeting is deleted outright, audio included. A deleted workspace can be restored for 30 days, after which it is erased for good.

  • Will it guess who owns an action item?

No, and this is deliberate. An owner is filled in only when the conversation named a person who is actually in your workspace; otherwise you see the name the meeting said, marked as a suggestion rather than an assignment. Due dates work the same way — “by Friday” is not a date, so the field is left empty instead of being invented.

  • Do I need to tell people they are being recorded?

Yes. Consent rules differ by country and by state, and the responsibility is yours. Gorowame shows a notice before and during every recording to make that easy, but it is a prompt, not legal advice.

  • What does it cost?

Nothing while it is in early access, and there is no billing in the product to charge you with even if there were a price. See Pricing.

  • Is Gorowame finished?

No, and the page says which parts are missing rather than leaving you to find out. What is described here is built and has been run end to end — recording, transcription, summaries, decisions, action items, workspace questions, sharing and export. Calendar, the video platforms, and email are not.
